We are seeking a highly motivated, resourceful partner to join us as a Senior Business Process Consultant. Reporting to the Association Director, People Operations, you will develop standard business processes and facilitate business process improvement initiatives across multiple functional units at Outside. The Senior Business Process Consultant has the opportunity to improve company culture by breaking down barriers and creating lasting changes in the way we operate as an organization.

This is a 3-month contract position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead process discovery by consulting and leading discussions with business teams, process owners, and stakeholders to understand and capture information.
  • Determines process recommendation documents, including presentations, process maps, supporting metrics, business requirements, and related impact analyses for complex processes or for portions of larger or inter-related processes.
  • Responsible for the documentation and maintenance of organizational processes and procedures, ensuring alignment and consistency.
  • Build and maintain business processes documentation using standard modeling methodology and tools.
  • Provide process change impact analysis and get buy-in for process optimization or new process implementation initiatives.
  • Assesses employee readiness to prepare for change, partners with stakeholders to execute change management activities, and identifies metrics to measure the successful adoption of change to ensure sustainment.
  • Drives higher utilization, faster adoption, and greater proficiency to accelerate benefits realization across the gas operations organization.
  • May utilize Lean/Six Sigma processes and concepts to lead process improvement initiatives.
  • Deliver training to users, business teams, process owners, and stakeholders on new or changes in existing processes.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience and a BA or BS or; 4+ years of relevant experience and a MS or MBA
  • LEAN, Six Sigma, or related business process improvement experience
  • Previous working knowledge of process mapping and design
  • Excellent project management skills including developing a project charter, producing deliverables and adhering to project schedule and budget preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with cross-functional teams.
  • Superior proficiency in written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain complex concepts in clear, concise terms.
  • Experience mapping Human Resources processes preferred but not required
  • Licenses/Certifications: LEAN/Six Sigma certification preferred
