Outside Inc. is seeking an energetic, self motivated individual to serve as a Sponsorship Manager on our Events & Experiences team, supporting the day-to-day sponsorship sales and execution efforts. This role includes partnering with sales reps, ideating with potential clients, negotiating and closing deals, and managing clients post-sale. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about fitness, wellness and the active sports lifestyle space and bringing those experiences to life.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

Account Services: Sales Support

  • Know and provide expertise on all events within the portfolio
  • Assist in presentation of event proposals
  • Work with the events teams, sales reps and pre-sales team to build creative solutions through integrated programs that align with client direction and goals
  • Foster relationships with sponsors, alongside sales team, bringing them new ideas that lead to up-sell opportunities throughout the course of the year

Account Services: Partner Management

  • Oversee all sponsorship activation for your accounts, including being onsite as needed for the events
  • Work closely with the Sponsorship Liaison to ensure all sponsor programs are executed as sold
  • Manage Sponsor assets
  • Work with sponsor to adhere to branding and exhibitor guidelines and any applicable deadlines
  • Work with event operations team to understand what additional assets are needed to activate an event that could be provided by a sponsors, either in trade or paid

Account Services: Administration

  • Measure, track and communicate daily, weekly, monthly results to ensure regional sales teams event revenue goals are achieved. Work directly with Director of Sponsorships on overall direction of sponsorship division to ensure that financial goals are met
  • Create and manage letter of agreements / contracts for all members of the sales team
  • Manage Sponsor Cost of Executions to ensure profitability of programs
  • Manage all sponsor proposals, handbooks, and summary presentations for your accounts
  • Manage National Sponsor WME Coupons (if applicable)
  • Serve as the point person for all things related to the event once sponsorship is sold


  • Work with post-sales team to oversee all contracted media elements are executed as sold


  • 5+ years account management experience in similar role preferred
  • Experience in hospitality, sales, sponsorship management in outdoor experiential or other relevant setting
  • Incredible attention to detail and quality-assurance
  • Client-service attitude and strong professionalism with clients, vendors and any talent involved
  • Ability to multitask, manage complex timelines and meet deadlines
  • Fluency in traditional software tools (Outlook 365, Google suite, etc)
  • Experiences in fitness, wellness, sports, outdoor industries preferred
  • Knowledge and experience leveraging traditional and new media and event platforms
  • Experience should include roles with responsibility towards revenue growth
  • Experience in tracking and managing revenue required
  • Strong communications skills, both verbal and written
  • SalesForce experience preferred
  • Google Suite experience preferred
  • Some travel required

Entirely remote jobs that could be performed in Colorado: Employees can expect to be paid a salary of between $40,000 to $60,000 plus Commission. Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, Flexible Time Away, sick leave, and more.
