Outside TV is looking for an Account Manager to join our team and support our client base. This integral role will work directly with Sales, Production, and Ad Ops to coordinate and quarterback campaigns through the lifecycle from pre-sale RFP through post-campaign recap.

The Account Manager must be savvy in the digital space and have general knowledge of digital advertising and analytics. The role is focused on managing client and partner relationships, campaign fulfillment, and reporting.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter who operates well in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering quality service. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential. The candidate must be a team player who proactively coordinates efforts among the various teams essential to ensuring successful campaign delivery.

This position can be located in West Port, CT or New York City, NY

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead day-to-day POC for advertiser/agency relationships on campaign management
  • Aid in the RFP response and pitch development process; responsible for deck creation and coordination of all required assets, as well as media plan template completion and submission for assigned accounts
  • Work closely with Sales & Ad Ops on campaign planning, activation, optimization and reporting
  • Frequent monitoring & reporting campaign status to key stakeholders – including external and internal campaign updates, screenshots, recap decks & useful insights
  • Serve as the liaison between the client and Outside TV to coordinate delivery of campaign assets in a timely manner while ensuring adherence to best practices & ad specs
  • Provide regularly scheduled communications and campaign updates with clients and internal stakeholders – you are responsible for keeping all parties informed and on schedule
  • Develop a keen understanding of how Outside TV’s ad products will deliver brand value in support of the clients advertising goals
  • Support Outside TV’s billing efforts for clients from invoice to payout
  • Support ad-hoc research and reporting requests from Production, Digital and Sales teams pertaining to content viewership and analysis
  • Consult regularly with clients and internal teams to understand priorities, review performance, and share product updates
  • Understand at a functional and technical level how Outside TV’s products and technologies work in order to provide valuable insight to clients
  • Conduct data-driven analysis to support and promote value-added business decisions

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:

  • Experience handling client relationships and account management
  • Knowledge of digital video distribution channels (Online, OTT, AVOD/SVOD, Mobile, Programmatic and emerging channels/technology)
  • Experience creating media plans and custom decks in response to RFPs
  • Knowledge of online advertising, ad platforms and campaign metrics
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent organizational skills and great attention to detail
  • Microsoft Office and Google Drive skills required
  • Interest and understanding of the adventure/action sports world is a plus

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of work experience in account/project management
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical thinker who can create data-driven recommendations; proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and Google Analytics/Data Studio
  • Familiarity with online video technologies, OTT, and ad-serving solutions
  • Comfortable working in a client-facing position
  • Strong campaign management and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience working with brand study and/or attribution vendors a plus
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
