Outside is seeking a Manager of Metadata & QA to support our ever growing video content library. You'll help to enforce our video content best practices and metadata standards while working alongside our Content Operations team.

The ideal candidate will be able to manage and prioritize the critical day-to-day operational metadata QA needs of our video content workflow; leading metadata generation and reviews with both internal and external partners for the timely delivery and best representation of our video catalog.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities
● Manage metadata generation, copyediting and/or copywriting for a high volume of video content requests under deadline pressure
● Enforce editorial style guide and metadata specifications, adjusting internal standards to accommodate distribution product updates as required
● Establish series synopses and episodic metadata delivery cadence, helping to streamline review, revision and submission procedures
● QA content as it’s delivered and provide notes as needed for the internal edit team
● Support the Operations department with ongoing initiatives and provide insight into improving and developing those respective workflows

● BA/BS degree
● 3+ years Content operations experience in the TV & Digital media industry or related fields
● Understanding of traditional MVPD distribution in comparison to emerging OTT services such as AVOD & SVOD
● Proactive problem solver who can effectively prioritize and handle multiple, time sensitive requests
● Highly knowledgeable of SEO best practices

Connecticut or Tri-State Area Jobs: Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $60,000 to $70,000. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission.
