Outside Event Services help partner events deepen engagement with their participants and add value to sponsorships. As a Sales Executive for Outside Event Services, you are responsible for establishing new revenue-generating partnerships with mass-participatory events in the running, cycling, triathlon, skiing and obstacle race categories to use athleteReg registration services and FinisherPix photography services.

  3. Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the Outside Inc. organization and partner event organizations, verbally and in writing
  4. Develop and cultivate new clientele through substantive prospecting and networking
  5. Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences

Responsibilities:

  1. Extensive prospecting and qualification of potential partner events
  2. Effectively communicate best-in-class features and innovation of athleteReg and FinisherPix services to meet partners’ (event directors’) needs, as well as describing media/marketing benefits of alignment with Outside Inc. brand portfolio
  3. Collaboration with Outside Event Services sales leadership and operations team on the development of customized proposals informed by partners’ needs
  4. Delivery/presentation of partnership proposals to senior level decision makers at category-leading endurance events and event management companies
  5. Negotiation of partnership terms and closing deals
  6. Achievement of individual revenue targets from new partnerships
  7. Communication with Outside Event Services account management team throughout program execution to ensure that partners’ goals are met
  8. Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  9. Diligent prospecting/pipeline and negotiation/conversion reporting in Salesforce
  10. Consistent monitoring and knowledge of event industry trends, services and technology to inform recommendations to Outside Inc. leadership of Outside Event Services offerings/solutions and unique selling propositions

Time Management:

  1. Prospecting/qualification outreach (60%)
  2. Negotiation/closing (30%)
  3. Account status reporting and updates (10%)

Education/Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or a related field
  2. Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  3. This senior role require a minimum 3 years experience selling and activating service partnerships with category-leading endurance events, and established event industry relationships

Entirely remote jobs that could be performed in Colorado: Employees can expect to be paid a salary of between $60,000 to $75,000. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission .
